Ben Danner

About Me

I have been in the Banking business dating back to my college years.  I have literally held every job in a Bank from Bank Teller, Drive-In Manager, Loan Officer (both Consumer and Commercial), Team Leader, Division Head, to my current role as Regional President.  I also was part of a group that purchased a failed Bank in 2010.  We grew the Bank, turned a profit and sold the Bank in 2014.

While in the Banking business, I have also been involved with many non-profit organizations, which include;

1. From 1993 to 2000 I was on the Board of Directors of Arizona Special Olympics.  For 6 of the 7 years I served as Treasurer.  I resigned from the Board in 2000 when I reached the maximum term for a Board Member.
2. I have been a part of Southwest Business Finance Corporation dating back to 1995.  I have served on the Board of Directors and Loan Committee for 27 years.  I have been the Board Chair 2 times (currently serve as Board Chair until October of 2022).
3. I was a member of the Board of Directors for Actors Theater of Phoenix from 1999 to 2004.  I was involved in fund raising and the Finance Committee. I resigned from the Board after serving my 5 year term.
4. I was a member of the Horizon High School Baseball Booster Club from 2005 to 2010 and served as the President from 2008 to 2010.  I led the fundraising campaign to raise $50,000.00 to purchase a new scoreboard for the baseball field.  I also led a campaign to raise $10,000.00 to replace the lights on the field.
